NAVC Institute 2018 is right around the corner! Taking place May 20th-25th in Orlando, Florida, Institute 2018 offers veterinary practitioners the opportunity to amplify their skills with intensive learning. Choose from nine hands-on courses (including two Ultrasound courses) with focused curriculum and intimate class sizes that will help you achieve your professional and personal goals. Each course yields 32 CE credit hours (RACE approved).

 

ABVP Examination Preparation

COURSE LEADER: Mark E. Epstein, DVM, Dipl. ABVP (C/F), dAAPM, CVPP
This course is encouraged for candidates seeking the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) Diplomate status, as well as anyone interested in a hardcore review of general medicine.

Applied Behavioral Medicine

COURSE LEADER: Karen Overall, MA, VMD, PhD, DACVB
Almost 60% of clients have questions about their dog’s or cat’s behavior during any visit, and research indicates that most of these questions go unanswered. This course was created to bridge the gap between need and knowledge. This is an applied behavioral medicine course designed to allow practitioners to go home and start working with patient behaviors that they might have previously avoided.

Deciphering Diagnostics

COURSE LEADER: Matthew Winter, DVM, DACVR
This course will combine the perspectives of a clinical pathologist, radiologist and an internist to provide insights into selecting, implementing and interpreting diagnostic tests in the context of complex clinical cases.

Feline Medicine

COURSE LEADER: Susan Little, DVM, DABVP (Feline)
This small group experience will give you the opportunity to update your knowledge and learn through case-based management and a hands-on techniques and procedures dry lab.

Practical Dentistry: Seek Your Teeth Into It!

Practical Orthopedic Surgical Techniques
