Katherine Pankratz

About the Author

Dr. Pankratz is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and associate veterinary behaviorist at the Animal Behavior Clinic in Portland, Oregon. She is the author of several peer-reviewed articles, including chapters in the Merck Veterinary Manual and Blackwell’s Five-Minute Veterinary Consult Clinical Companion: Canine and Feline Behavior (3rd ed). She regularly lectures at various veterinary conferences across the United States and Canada. She obtained her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed her veterinary behavior residency and fellowship at North Carolina State University. Dr. Pankratz’s research interests include reducing stress in animals, especially during travel and veterinary visits.
