While the world of veterinary medicine is rapidly evolving, high-quality, personalized education experiences are needed now more than ever. That is why the NAVC’s annual Veterinary Meeting and Expo (VMX)—scheduled for June 5-9, 2021—will offer its world-class education experiences in a variety of formats, catering to all content and safety needs. You can register online now at navc.com/vmx for either the in-person or virtual option—all with the assurance of flexible cancellation and a priority on safety measures.
In-person attendance will offer hundreds of hours of the quality CE that VMX is known for, as well as additional elective options including Hands-on Workshops, Coffee with an Expert (formerly Rounds), and Meet the Professor Luncheons. These experiences offer participants the chance to expand their technical skills, broaden their educational horizons, and make lasting professional connections. Preregistration is required, as well as an additional fee.
Hands-on Workshops give you everything you need to master a topical skill: a seasoned instructor, the necessary tools and supplies, and most importantly, space. Proper social distancing between participants or small groups working together will be enforced at all times to give you the peace of mind to focus on the task at hand. Workshops on ultrasounds, dental extractions, common surgery procedures, and more are on the schedule.
Coffee with an Expert gives you the chance to chat with respected leaders in various fields. These 2-hour roundtable sessions give you access to these experts as they share challenges they’ve faced in their careers in a free-flowing conversation. These small groups allow for proper social distancing and the opportunity to delve into genuine conversation with mentors and peers.
Meet the Professor Luncheons have always been a big hit at VMX, and you’ll see why once you get to spend 90 minutes with leading clinicians and like-minded colleagues sharing stories and learning from each other’s experiences. These more intimate gatherings offer you the chance to improve your knowledge and connect with friends and mentors in the field, all while keeping proper physical distance.
These electives are filtered by registration type (veterinarian, veterinary nurse/technician, practice manager, etc.), which guarantees you will get the most out of your experience. Spots are limited due to safety precautions and extra fees are required to attend. Learn more about all the VMX 2021 elective offerings and sign up now at navc.com/vmx/program.
