NAVC SkillShop 2026: Take Your Expertise to the Next Level
Formerly known as the NAVC Institute, the NAVC’s longstanding hands-on workshop event is now NAVC SkillShop. This all-inclusive event will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, from May 24-28, 2026. Gain 8 to 32 CE credit hours in topics ranging from ultrasonography and surgery to ophthalmology and dentistry. Courses are offered in multi- and single-day formats and can be mixed and matched. Also available is the Uncharted Practice Owner Summit professional development course.

Believe and Belong: Paving the Way for Future Veterinary Professionals
The NAVC has been a long-standing supporter of blendVET and its Believe and Belong in Veterinary Medicine pathway program, both at VMX and throughout North America. The blendVET organization focuses on youth in underrepresented communities and empowers them to pursue a career in the veterinary profession. Just recently, the NAVC was awarded a $250,000 grant from the Zoetis Foundation, which will be poured back into this program in the form of hands-on workshops, virtual resources for students and guardians, and lifelong mentorship opportunities.
