About the Author
Dr. Van Vertloo is an assistant professor of internal medicine at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2010 and subsequently completed an internship and residency training at Purdue University. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2015.
