When veterinary professionals think of continuing education, they usually envision a week-long conference packed with as many topics and credits as possible. While this schedule is ideal for many, the NAVC also caters to those who want to slow down and immerse themselves in a singular topic of their choosing.
The annual NAVC Institute, being held at the Caribe Royale Orlando in May 2023, offers an unparalleled experience that focuses on comprehensive hands-on training on 1 sole topic. Taught by world-renowned experts in their field, this 3- to 4-day CE event offers 20 to 32 CE credits with the choice of 1 of 7 courses for veterinarians and 1 of 2 courses for veterinary nurses/technicians.
The available courses cover a wide range of clinical topics, so veterinarians will be sure to find one that applies to their area of expertise and interest. These include dentistry, surgery, exotics, ultrasonography, and more, as well as exam prep for the ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) certification. Don’t forget about the rest of the team—veterinary nurses/technicians can also take courses in emergency medicine/critical care and exotics.
The registration fee for this all-inclusive event covers the course, course notes, lodging, all meals, exhibit hall access, an individual subscription to VetFolio, a discounted registration to VMX 2024, and more.
The NAVC Institute will allow veterinary professionals to gain unique skills that can be put to use immediately. For more information, visit navc.com/institute.
